VEG Marker Database: a resource of molecular marker for main Vegetable crops
Vegetable contains a variety of vitamins and plant fiber important for human nutrition,
and widely grown all over the world.
Here, we developed VEG Marker Database,
which focusing on InDel and SNPs markers with 13 vegetable crops include 1355 resequencing data.
By integrating gene data and whole-genome data of crops from BRAD database,
BnPIR database, Sol database and CuGenDB,
the current VEG Marker Database provides high-quality 1,596,706 SNPs markers and 928,038 InDel markers,
each marker provides variation information, gene ID, Tm value,
amplified product length and some details.
In addition, it also provides a readily online tool to mining and visualizing markers information,
such as JBroswer and web-BLAST. In particular,
we developed the feature of searching and designing primers to further facilitate the use of SNPs and InDel markers.
